|
Quickcut Profiles Pty Ltd require a Welder (First Class) and Metal Fabricator to join their team in Lake Cargelligo, NSW.
They will be responsible for welding and fabrication.
Main Duties:- Operate and adjust the Mig welding machines to suit material thickness.
- Mig welding metal parts to form a product
- Grinding and finishing metal parts to be ready for paint
- Joining metal sections using various welding techniques including MIG and FCAW
- Examining welds for size, penetration and defects.
- Identify and resolve welding difficulties
- To ensure all work is carried out to company policies and procedures.
- Build, develop and produce products as required to meet customer requirements.
- Reading CAD drawings.
- Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stocks for welding.
- Fabricate and weld metal plates and RHS sections in jigs and to drawings.
- Meet deadlines and quality requirements to satisfy customer demand.
- Perform all duties whilst adhering to OH&S requirements.
- Follow systems and procedures & fill out checklists and paperwork.
- Adhere to workplace safety requirements and use PPE correctly at all times.
Other Tasks:- Adjust to changing requirements of the workshop.
- Assist with stock checks when required.
- Keep area of work clean and tidy
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials in and out of the work area, and assisting colleagues in this task where necessary
Qualifications and Experience:- AQF Certificate III - Fabrication Trade, or equivalent.
- Experienced with the welding of mild steel structures and parts.
- High level attention to detail and quality control.
- Minimum 5 years' experience required
- Experience working efficiently to ensure company quality standards are met and exceeded.
These are full time permanent positions - working 38+ hours per week with guaranteed overtime.
Remuneration packages of $76,000 to $84,000 will be offered to the successful candidates aligned with experience. An immediate start is available.
