About the Role
We are currently looking for a Full Time Leading Hand to join our Precast Plant in New Gisborne, VIC. You will be responsible for leading and supporting a team involved in manufacturing, packing, and dispatch of large precast concrete blocks and other concrete and erosion control products used in retaining walls, earth retention, and infrastructure projects.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who likes doing the doing, and being on the floor with other members of the team. You'll have prior leadership experience in a hands-on manufacturing or operations role.
To be considered for this role, you will also need to:- Hold a full car licence
- Have a great work ethic and can-do attitude
- Be highly organised with excellent time management and ability to prioritise
- Have good attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Have a good level of physical fitness as there is lots of time spent on your feet and some heavy lifting is required
- Be computer literate with the MS Office Suite
Success in this role requires strong people leadership, clear communication, problem-solving skills, and a practical, hands-on approach. The ideal candidate is someone who builds trust with their team, demonstrates accountability, and actively lives the company's values while driving safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
A forklift licence or experience operating a forklift is desirable.
