Our client requires an Actuary to join their team in Sydney, NSW.
Key duties include:- Develop a robust and pragmatic risk appetite framework and target PCA cover ratios.
- Co-develop a robust and pragmatic framework for measuring capital used per business line and returns thereon, the framework to be aligned to shareholder requirements.
- Assess and implement new sources of capital.
- Develop and maintain an asset liabilities framework, including the related governance.
- Review and optimise group company structure, both domestic and international.
- Engage with new business M&A including due diligence investigations, structuring, and agreements.
- Structuring new opportunities, including fund launches.
- Engage with credit rating ambitions.

- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects from initial ideation through to finalising
- Implementation, including the coordination of resources, deliverables and up to Board level reporting.

To be considered you will need:- A level of skill commensurate with a relevant bachelor degree or higher qualification and at least 10 years of post-qualification actuarial or similar employment experience.
- Insurance group experience in capital management, balance sheet management, and corporate finance.
This is a full time role, an immediate start is available. A competitive remuneration package is available for the successful candidate.
