    We are currently seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our Moffat Beach team in a full time role.

    Your role will include, but is not limited to:
    • Inspect, diagnose, and test light vehicles using manual and electronic diagnostic tools.
    • Perform scheduled maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
    • Conduct mechanical repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering, cooling systems, and electrical components.
    • Identify faults and determine appropriate repair solutions following manufacturer guidelines.
    • Test and adjust mechanical systems to ensure proper functioning and roadworthiness.
    • Maintain records of work performed, parts used, and services completed.
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers regarding vehicle condition, repair requirements, and timeframes.
    • Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with safety and operational standards.
    • Stay updated with new vehicle technologies and repair techniques.
    • Ensures compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
    Applicants must have:
    • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification.
    • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic (General).
    • Proven experience working with Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, and Porsche vehicles.
    Other Requirements:
    • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and electronics.
    • Ability to use diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and hand tools.
    • Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
    • Experience working in a dealership or specialised European vehicle workshop. (preferred)
    • Exposure to hybrid or electric vehicle systems. (Preferred)
