Experienced Leading Hand or Site Supervisor

Our client offers top-quality Wet and Dry Hire, Concreting, Earthmoving, and Quarry Services in Mildura. They are currently seeking a skilled Leading Hand / Site Supervisor to join our team in a full time position.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Supervise, lead, and support site teams to ensure project milestones are met safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Coordinate daily site activities, plant, materials, equipment, and subcontractors in line with project timelines
- Interpret and implement construction plans, specifications, and quality requirements
- Ensure full compliance with WHS regulations, environmental management plans, and site safety procedures
- Monitor daily progress, resources, and potential risks, providing accurate reports and updates to project managers and stakeholders
- Liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain communication and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate site documentation, quality control records, and safety reporting
- Guide, mentor, and support team members while fostering a positive and productive work culture
- Assist with hands-on tasks when required to keep workflow and project delivery on track
Applicants must have:- Minimum 4+ years' experience supervising civil construction projects, particularly subdivisions, earthworks, and civil infrastructure
- Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Site Supervisor coordinating teams, plant, materials, and subcontractors
- Strong ability to read and interpret civil construction plans, specifications, and quality requirements
- Thorough understanding of Australian construction standards, WHS legislation, and environmental requirements
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills with high attention to detail
- Experience with quality assurance systems, site documentation, and compliance reporting
- Current White Card and valid Australian driver's licence (additional tickets highly regarded)
- Must be currently based in Australia with unrestricted work rights
