We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our Karratha team in a full time role.
Applicants must hold a relevant trade qualification and have at least 1 year of experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technician.
Duties include:- Support the development and refinement of mechanical systems, plant, and equipment designs
- Produce technical drawings, layouts, and detailed plans in line with engineering requirements and project briefs
- Assemble, install, and modify mechanical components, machinery, controls, and hydraulic systems
- Select appropriate tools, machinery, and equipment to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely
- Calculate material quantities, equipment needs, and estimated costs to support project planning and delivery
- Conduct and oversee testing to assess performance and compliance
- Gather, interpret, and analyse technical data, completing calculations and preparing supporting diagrams and documentation
- Coordinate and supervise inspection, servicing, and maintenance activities for mechanical plant and equipment
- Verify that all designs, installations, and completed works comply with specifications, standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations
A salary between $80,000 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
