Mobbs Engineering was first established in 2007 to meet demands from local companies for a reliable engineering company to supply quality products and service.
We are currently seeking experienced Metal Fabricator / Boilermakers to join our Emerald team.
Applicants must demonstrate competence in successfully undertaking assigned responsibilities related to steel fabrication and repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools and machinery
- Perform welding using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Fabricate and assemble steel structures, tanks, frames, and other metal products
- Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, drills, cutting torches, and presses
- Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Repair and maintain metal structures, machinery, and equipment as required
- Ensure all work complies with workplace safety regulations and quality standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently
To be considered for these positions, you will need to demonstrate:- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
