  • BAAN BUTSABA GROUP PTY. LTD. t/a Baan Butsaba Remedial Massage are currently seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join their team in Mascot, NSW.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Provide professional massage treatments including Thai Massage, Relaxation, Deep Tissue, and other therapeutic modalities offered by the business.
    • Conduct client consultation to identify needs, preferences, contraindications, and treatment goals; adapt techniques to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
    • Perform appropriate pre- and post-treatment procedures (client positioning, draping, aftercare advice) to maximise comfort and results.
    • Maintain high standards of hygiene, infection control and workplace safety; sanitise treatment rooms, linen and equipment between clients.
    • Deliver excellent customer service: explain treatments clearly, manage bookings/flow as required, and ensure a welcoming client experience.
    • Accurately record services provided (where required), including notes on client conditions, progress and follow-up recommendations.
    • Work collaboratively with other therapists and reception/team members to ensure smooth daily operations across branches.
    • Comply with all relevant policies, professional boundaries and ethical standards in massage therapy.
    Skills / Experience / Specific Qualifications Required (Key Competencies, Must Haves):
    • Qualification: Certificate IV in Massage Therapy (or equivalent). Additional training in Thai Massage is highly regarded.
    • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a commercial massage / day spa / Thai massage clinic environment (minimum 2 years preferred).
    • Technical capability: Strong understanding of massage techniques, musculoskeletal anatomy, pressure control and client safety/contraindications.
    • Communication & relationship building: Able to communicate effectively with diverse clients; strong customer service and professionalism.
    • Work ethic & reliability: Punctual, well-presented and able to maintain consistent service quality in a busy clinic.
    • Compliance & hygiene: Knowledge of infection control, WHS requirements and professional boundaries in a health/wellness setting.
    • Availability: Ability to work rostered hours including weekends and evenings as required.
