Aden Rentoul Bricklaying is a medium-sized construction business based in Caboolture, QLD, with a team of experienced bricklayers and construction workers. We value teamwork, safety, and quality workmanship.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bricklayer who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to meet project deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct or repair structures
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Measure and mark out areas for bricklaying
- Mix and apply mortar to lay bricks and blocks
- Cut and shape bricks to fit around corners, edges, and openings
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
- Comply with workplace health and safety requirements
Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required:- Minimum 1 year of experience as a bricklayer
- Certificate III in Bricklaying or equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Physical capacity to lift and carry heavy materials
