Established in 1990 Advantage Air is a Perth based Australian developer and manufacturer of air conditioning and home controls products, including MyAir air conditioning controls and MyPlace smart home controls.
They require an Electrical Engineering Warranty Technician to join their team in Castle Hill, NSW.
You will inspect, test, and repair electrical equipment, focusing on diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and ensuring compliance with specifications under warranty conditions. You will work with technical, engineering, and maintenance teams, providing data analysis and technical support to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities include:- Warranty Management: Diagnosing malfunctions, repairing, or replacing faulty electrical components and systems (e.g., power supplies, control boxes, control tablets and auxilary component) to meet manufacturer specification;
- Testing and Diagnostics: Using tools like voltsticks, multimeters, LAN tester and power tools to troubleshoot complex issues, in the field or manufacturing environments;
- Compliance and Reporting: Documenting repair processes, collecting data, and creating technical reports to verify performance;
- Collaboration: Working with engineers, installers, and customers to resolve on-site issues and providing technical support.
To be considered you will need level of skill commensurate with an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma and 1 year of relevant post-qualification employment experience OR at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.
This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $77,000 - $85,000 (base salary excluding superannuation) will be offered to the successful candidate.
