About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and capable professional to act as Assistant to the Managing Director. This is not an entry-level position. You will provide high-level support to both the site management and office administration, managing day-to-day operations, assisting with projects, and contributing to business efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:- Assisting the MD with contract administration, purchasing, programming and coordination of subcontractors
- Assisting the MD with general office/business administration
- Managing contract administration correspondence, reporting, and documentation
- On-site support as required for project supervision
- Helping streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
This role offers direct mentorship from the MD and exposure to all stages of multi-residential and commercial construction. There is real opportunity to grow into senior management responsibilities.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be a proactive, organised, and experienced professional with a background in construction administration, project support, or a similar role. You have existing skills and experience and are ready to take on a role with responsibility and variety.
Completion or partial completion of a Construction related Diploma would be advantageous.
Essential requirements:- Previous experience in construction administration, project coordination, or similar
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Competent mathematics and literacy skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Current driver's licence
- Positive, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
