About Us:
We are a high-performing, customer-focused Kia dealership located in Penrith, committed to delivering outstanding service and operational excellence.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team.
About the Role:
This position is responsible for managing dealership vehicle inventory while ensuring accurate and compliant vehicle registrations. Working closely with Sales, Accounts, and Management, you will play a key role in maintaining smooth dealership operations and meeting manufacturer and state compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate new vehicle stock records
- Process vehicle orders and dealer swaps
- Monitor vehicle aging and report on stock performance
- Liaise with Kia Australia regarding vehicle allocations and delivery schedules
- Process Kia vehicle registrations accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintain registration records and manage plate inventory
- Coordinate vehicle transfers between sites and external compounds
- Prepare monthly stock reports and assist with month-end procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation for audit and compliance purposes
About You:- Previous experience in dealership stock control and vehicle administration/registration role (essential)
- Strong knowledge of automotive dealership operations
- Experience using DMS system-TUNE
- Knowledge of registration procedures and compliance
- High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication and organisational skills
