Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Controller to join our leadership team.
This is a highly responsible and hands-on role, working closely with the General Manager and Dealer Principal. The motor industry is fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving - offering an exciting career opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily management of Floor Plan facility
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable oversight
- Bank reconciliations
- Completion of month-end reporting processes
- BAS preparation and reporting
- Superannuation administration
- Monitoring and reconciliation of all vehicle stock
- FBT management and reporting
- General ledger reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly financial and management reports
- Assisting with budgets, forecasting, and performance targets
- Administration of all financial aspects of the business
About You
You'll be joining a dedicated, successful team within a well-established and reputable dealership, where your expertise will play a key role in driving financial performance and operational success.
To succeed in this role, you will have:- A strong accountancy or financial management background
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High-level computer competency (experience with dealer management systems advantageous)
- The ability to identify key financial drivers and reporting requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, committed, and hands-on approach
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
