We're seeking expressions of interest from experienced and motivated General Managers to lead our expanding Oakford-based team. This is a full-time role offering the chance to make a real impact in a dynamic, fast-growing business.
About the Role
As General Manager, you'll oversee the smooth running of our office, workshop, plant hire, and transport operations. You'll lead a skilled team, ensure efficiency across projects, and work closely with the business owners to drive growth and maintain service excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:- Leading and managing mechanics, technicians, and support staff
- Overseeing plant hire fleet availability, bookings, and maintenance scheduling
- Coordinating transport logistics for equipment and machinery
- Monitoring job progress, budgets, and operational efficiency
- Implementing systems for job tracking, task delegation, and productivity
- Promoting a safe, compliant, and positive workplace culture
About You:
We're looking for a confident and accountable leader who thrives in a hands-on environment.
Key requirements:- Strong management and leadership skills
- Excellent organisational and planning ability
- Experience with civil & mining machinery (highly regarded)
- Valid Driver's Licence (HR or higher preferred)
- White Card
- Able to problem-solve independently and adapt on the go
- Safety-focused, reliable, and a team player
