Tregea Landscaping is currently seeking an experienced Landscape Gardener to join their team in Alice Springs, NT.
This is a full time role working 38 hours a week, and duties and responsibilities include:- Observe growth conditions and ensure healthy plant development through effective cultivation and seedbed management.
- Manage and execute planting of a variety of flora including trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Establish lush lawn areas through soil preparation, grass planting, and turf installation.
- Maintain planted and grassed areas by weeding, trimming, fertilising, watering, and mowing.
- Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges with precision, ensuring plant support and protective measures where necessary.
- Implement landscape design plans, select and source materials, and maintain construction schedules.
- Install hardscape (structural) and softscape (natural) elements to enhance outdoor spaces.
- Assess tree health and provide necessary treatments, including limb removal and branch shaping.
- Implement pest and disease control measures, including spraying, dusting, and removal of diseased trees.
Applicants must have at least 2 years' of relevant experience and hold a relevant Certificate III or higher.
Applicants will also have:- Strong horticulture and design skills
- Current NT's Driver Licence
- MR licence (or ability to obtain)
- Ochre Card, White Card, and Police Clearance
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
A salary between $76,515 - $90,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
