BYD Gold Coast have a dynamic opportunity available for a Sales Consultant to join our growing team.
Due to overwhelming customer interest and high level of growth, we're searching for an enthusiastic candidate to meet demand and continue delivering exceptional experiences to our guests.
About the role
You will assist customers in discovering the innovative BYD vehicle range while delivering an exceptional sales experience. Working within a supportive team, you will receive comprehensive training to confidently present vehicle features, performance, and advanced battery technology, helping customers find the right model to suit their needs.
BYD has been the most exciting new manufacturer in the automotive industry and now the world's largest New Energy Vehicle producer, with 4 fully electric models; Atto3, Dolphin, Seal and Sealion7 now available in Australia. With several new models launching in 2026, BYD has ambitious plans for the Australian market.
To be successful you must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, an engaging personality and passion for delivering an outstanding and memorable guest experience.
Desirable criteria:- Previous sales experience
- Exceptional people skills
- Team orientated mindset
- Building relationships and educating in all matters of electric vehicles
- Ability to use tablet technology and capture customer data
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Have a valid driver's license
- A natural passion for guiding and assisting customers
- A great attitude looking for opportunities to exceed customer and management expectations whilst relishing a challenge
