About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our busy and well-established café located in Ryde, NSW. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop seasonal café-style menus, including breakfast, brunch, and lunch offerings
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Maintain stock levels, place orders, and minimise food wastage
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain a clean kitchen environment
- Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff to maintain high performance
Skills and Experience Required:- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef, preferably in a café or similar environment
- Relevant qualification such as Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Experience in menu planning, cost control, and stock management
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Salary & Benefits:- $76,515 - $80,000 + superannuation (depending on experience)
