We are seeking an experienced Roof Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining metal roofing systems and rainwater goods for residential and commercial projects. The role involves working with metal roof sheeting, flashings, gutters and downpipes to ensure high-quality and weatherproof roofing installations.
Key Responsibilities:- Review building drawings, plans and specifications to determine roofing layout and required materials
- Measure, cut and install metal roof sheeting and associated roofing components
- Fabricate and install flashings, ridge cappings and other roof waterproofing components
- Install and maintain rainwater goods including gutters, downpipes and roof drainage systems
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on existing metal roofing systems and roof cladding
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant building standards and safety requirements
- Work safely at heights and follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Liaise with supervisors, builders and other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specification
Qualifications and Experience:- Relevant trade qualification and/or 3-5 years of experience in roof plumbing, plumbing, metal roofing or a closely related field.
- Experience working with metal roofing systems including flashings, gutters and downpipes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Salary
An hourly rate between $45 - $75 per hour (depending on experience) will be offered to the successful candidate.
