Formula Motor Group in Mawson Lakes is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Automotive Light Mechanic to join their team in a full time role.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in light vehicles using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer technical information.
- Carry out repairs and scheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Perform logbook servicing and warranty repairs, ensuring compliance with manufacturer requirements.
- Remove, dismantle, repair and replace engine assemblies, transmissions, suspension, steering, braking and ignition system components.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct road tests to verify repair outcomes and vehicle functionality.
- Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and assist apprentices in skills development and on-the-job training.
Applicants must hold a relevant Cert. 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and have at least one years industry experience. A drivers licence is also essential.

- Proven diagnostic experience desirable but not essential
- Mitsubishi or GWM experience is favourable but not essential
A salary between $60,000 - $78,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
