Real Coat Painting is seeking an experienced and reliable Painter to join our growing team in Edmondson Park.
As a Painter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality residential and commercial painting services. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure projects are completed to a professional standard.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:- Preparing surfaces for painting including sanding, scraping, filling holes, and removing old paint
- Applying paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and exterior surfaces
- Mixing and matching paints to achieve required colours and finishes
- Protecting surrounding areas by covering furniture, floors, and fixtures
- Cleaning and priming surfaces prior to painting
- Inspecting completed work to ensure high-quality standards are met
- Reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and work instructions
- Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience Required:- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Painter
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret plans and job specifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and within a team
