We are seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer to join our site team at Suas Civil Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil and structural construction projects across Melbourne and surrounding areas. This role is critical in ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering drawings, project specifications, and relevant Australian standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and supervise day-to-day construction activities on civil and structural infrastructure projects.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure works are completed in accordance with design requirements.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination to support the timely delivery of projects.
- Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
- Provide technical support to site teams and assist in resolving on-site engineering and construction issues.
- Prepare site reports, progress updates, and quality assurance documentation.
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to coordinate project activities.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of safety, environmental, and quality management systems on site.
- Assist with monitoring project quantities, materials, and variations as required.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project programs, budgets, and company procedures.
Applicants must have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role and hold a bachelor degree or higher qualification relevant to Civil engineering.
A salary between $76,515 - $110,000 per annum will be offered to the successful applicants for this role.
