Brajkovich Demolition & Salvage (WA) Pty Ltd requires experienced Drainers for residential and commercial demolition work.
Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or 2 years of experience coupled with a Certificate III qualification in plumbing. They must be in good physical condition and demonstrate the necessary expertise to effectively conduct plumbing and drainage tasks across diverse worksites, performing the following duties:- Preparation, trenching and installation of drainage and various piping (including sewer, water and waste).
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of ground levels and their impact on piping and drainage systems.
- Demonstrate understanding of, and execute, string or other laser lines for site level preparation, in accordance with blueprints or other engineering documentation and/or as per site requirements.
- Prepare, install, repair and service below-ground and portable drainage systems and associated sewerage or effluent disposal systems.
- Prepare, install, repair and service drains, guttering, cooling and ventilation systems, metal roofing, and related equipment for water supply, drainage and sewerage systems.
- Install sanitary, sewerage and effluent pumping/plumbing piping, fixtures/valves and water systems, in accordance with manufacturing and legislative guidelines.
- Ensure all portable buildings and equipment are in working order, prior to delivery and in situ (when required).
- Demonstrate understanding of written specifications (such as drawings and blueprints plans) to ensure all drainage and piping meets requirements.
- Ensure materials are itemised, receipted and stored in accordance with company requirements. Also ensuring adequate material and inventory replacement is undertaken in a timely manner to ensure materials/equipment are available as required.

- Wear or use, in the proper manner, protective clothing and equipment appropriate to the job.
- Do not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interest of safety and health.
- Participate in and support return to work programs.
Applicants must also hold a Construction Induction (White) Card, and hold a C Class driver's licence.
We also require experienced Truck Drivers for land subdivision, residential and demolition work.
Applicants must have a minimum 3 years' relevant work experience, be physically fit, and will have the relevant experience on subdivisions and demolition work sites, performing the following duties:- Follow instructions, locate and read location and road maps.
- Truck and Trailer Pre-Start checks.
- Continual monitoring of vehicle equipment to ensure safety of that equipment and that of surrounding workers.
- Operation of Prime Movers, side and end tippers.
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
- Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
- Weight estimations in compliance with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight.
- Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries.
Skills & Experience:- Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge
- Able to pass random drug tests
- Listening and verbal communication skills
- Dependability
- Ability to manoeuvre vehicles into positions for loading / unloading and operation of tipping equipment in a demolition environment
- Ability to operate semi-end tipper
Essential Criteria:- Ability to pass a Commercial Driver Medical and Drug and Alcohol screening
- Hold a current HC or MC Manual license
- Construction card (Blue/White card)
- A minimum 3 years' relevant work experience
- Available to work Monday - Friday (Occasional Saturday) as well as long hours as required
- Fatigue Management Certificate (preferred but not essential)
- Load restraint certificate (preferred but not essential)
A salary between $76,515 - $90,000 will be offered to the successful candidates.
