We are currently seeking a qualified Heavy Truck Road Transport Mechanic to join our Teams in Maddington WA and Clayton Victoria in a full time role. With a highly competitive salary, including OT and performance bonuses, this role suits an experienced top end operator.
The person we seek
We require a Heavy Duty Truck Technician with proven knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, including Kenworth, Mack, Volvo, and hydraulic trailing equipment. You will be a self-starter, have sharp organisation skills, and be able to thrive in a Team environment.
Duties:- Effectively diagnose and find faults in the mechanic assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance, and service
- Servicing for all fleet, including trucks, trailers, dolly's platforms, and motor vehicles in accordance with the maintenance procedure
- Replacement of brakes, suspension components, and steering system
- Auto electrical work on all 12- or 24-volt systems (if required)
- Documentation and recording processes will be a major element of the role
Skills and Experience:- Fully Qualified in Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanics
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience in the Heavy Haulage Industry preferable
- Experience working with Heavy Rated Trucks
- Experience working with Low-Loader and Platform Trailers
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
