Mackerel Islands Pty. Ltd. T/A Onslow Beach Resort is located in a remote coastal destination in Australia's Northwest region.

We're currently looking for experienced Chefs/Cooks to join our team of kitchen staff.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have:

A Hospitality qualification and at least 2- 3 years of employment experience;
Previous experience in a high-quality resort, hotel or restaurant
Catering experience
Strong team leadership and communication skills
Ability to work unsupervised or as an integral team member
Flexible work ethic with a passion to create unique and memorable experiences

Responsibilities will include:

Prepare food, ensuring the quality and presentation of food is according to resort standard
Maintain resort standards for sanitation and hygiene
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
Minimise spoilage and waste by utilising food surpluses and portion control
Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals
Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service
Assist in menu compilation and development

We are also looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team as well.

Applicants for this role will need at least 2-3 years' experience in a similar position.

A remuneration package between $76,515 - $80,000 plus complimentary accommodation will be offered to the successful candidates.
