    Rimech Engineering are currently looking to fill the following roles:
    • Metal Fabricators / Fitters
    • Construction Estimator
    • Structural Engineer
    Metal Fabricators/Fitters: To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to hold relevant trade qualifications and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Metal Fabricators/Fitters.

    You will also demonstrate the following tickets / experience:
    • Construction Safety Awareness - White Card
    • Emergency Evacuation Drill
    • Water Corporation Field Based Work Induction
    • Water Corporation Level 1 Lock out Tag out (LOTO)
    • RIO Tinto Inductions
    • Fire extinguisher training
    • SWMS & JSEA Training
    • Manual Handling
    • Hazardous Materials
    • Spill Response
    You will be responsible for undertaking work as directed by the Workshop or Site Supervisor, including:
    • Receive job brief from Workshop Supervisor or Site Supervisor
    • Undertake welding to meet the technical requirements
    • Report technical problems to Workshop Supervisor or Site Supervisor
    • Report safety issues to Workshop Supervisor or Site Supervisor
    • Participate in staff safety meetings
    • HSEQ involvement and adherence
    • Maintain high standard of housekeeping in workshop
    • Work as directed by Workshop Supervisor or Site Supervisor
    • Obtain tools/consumables/equipment from store to complete jobs
    Construction Estimator: To be considered for this position, you will need to have a minimum of three years estimating experience.

    You will also need to have:
    • Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and project documents
    • A great communicator able to engage with internal and external stakeholders
    • Australian working rights
    You will be responsible for:
    • Keeping up to date with upcoming tenders and other significant projects
    • Assess the viability of projects prior to bid
    • Understand client's requirements, standards and specifications
    • Perform detailed take-off's of materials
    • Apply accurate costing to bids as per company templates
    • Follow up on submitted tenders
    • Assist with procurement and handover to project management staff
    • Scope of works planning and finding cost efficiencies
    • Provide advice as per contract documents
    Structural Engineer: To be considered for this position, you will need to have a relevant Degree in Engineering Civil or Mechanical, and proven experience working in a similar role.

    Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
    • Receive job briefing from the Project Manager
    • Brief workers of work and safety requirements
    • Ensure that all plant/equipment is available for the job and fit for purpose
    • Supervise workers and ensure that the work performed meets quality, technical and safety requirements.
    • Resolve onsite problems where they are within your capabilities and authority
    • Work cooperatively with the client/ super representative
    • Report daily progress, resources and problems to the Project Manager (including HSE reporting requirements)
    • Ensure that client requirements are met
    • Inform the Project Manager of potential job variations
    • Create and update look ahead programs
    • Participate in job debrief (if requested by the Project Manager)
    • HSEQ involvement and adherence e.g. prestart meetings, tool box meetings, risk assessments, site inspections / audits
    • Develop Management Plans & HSE documentation as required.
    • Develop Design and Shop Drawings. Auto CAD or similar
    • Compile and maintain currency of project Quality documentation
    • Assist with job progress claims & variation proposals
    Remuneration packages between $76,515 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidates.
