THE TRUSTEE FOR THE TRAVEL INN MOTEL UNIT TRUST (Best Western Plus Travel Inn Hotel) are seeking a passionate and experienced Hotel Duty Manager to join our dynamic team at a well-established hotel in Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Lead, supervise, and support front office and operational staff
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Assist in staff training, rostering, and performance management
- Monitor occupancy, revenue, and operational efficiency
Requirements:- Minimum 2+ years' previous experience in a supervisory or duty manager role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is highly regarded
