About the role
We are seeking multiple experienced Bakers to join our team at Paradise Bakehouse in Innes Park, QLD. This is a full-time role, where you will be responsible for the production of high-quality baked goods to delight our customers.
Key responsibilities for this role include:- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules
- Ensure all baked goods meet quality and presentation standards
- Operate various baking equipment and appliances
- Use various baking techniques including kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and new product idea.
The minimum work experience for this position are:- Formal qualifications in baking or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery or similar environment
The requirements for this position are:- Strong understanding of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of quality and presentation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to working as part of a team and contributing to a positive work culture
- Comply with food safety regulations in Queensland
