    We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Sales Agronomist to join our Emerald team full time.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Build and grow strong relationships with producers across the Emerald region
    • Provide agronomic recommendations on crop inputs - tailored to each client's farming system
    • Conduct in-crop inspections, pest and disease monitoring, and interpret soil and plant tests and recommend programs based on agronomic results and knowledge
    • Plan, implement and report on replicated field trials to support product development and local best practice
    • Identify and develop sales opportunities across the Emerald region
    • Building on strong sales relationships with current and future business partners and clients, to achieve individual and divisional KPIs
    • Ensure all advice complies with APVMA label directions, resistance-management strategies and stewardship programs
    • Represent Muirs at grower field days, crop walks, industry events and supplier training
    • Maintain accurate client records in our CRM and contribute to branch reporting and forecasting
    Candidates must have:
    • Tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Plant Science, Horticultural Science or a closely related discipline (Bachelor degree minimum)
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial agronomy, sales agronomy or closely related role
    • Demonstrated technical knowledge of production systems in the Emerald region
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to communicate technical information clearly to growers
    • Well-developed organisational and time-management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a branch team
    • Competent use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and CRM systems
    • Current Australian driver's licence
