About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our team. The role involves providing safe and effective nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, while also supporting patient coordination, follow-ups, and engagement with external healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide safe and effective nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of treatment
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Conduct patient follow-ups to monitor progress and ensure continuity of care
- Coordinate with external stakeholders including pathology laboratories, diagnostic centres, specialists, and allied health providers, etc for making appointments on behalf of the clients for various tests and examinations
- Arrange appointments for patients for tests, procedures, and specialist consultations
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated patient care
- Support patients with daily living activities and promote wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with infection control and workplace health and safety standards
Skills and Experience:- Diploma of Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Knowledge of clinical procedures and healthcare regulations
Desirable Criteria:- Proficiency in a community language to support patients from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Experience working in multicultural healthcare settings
A salary of AUD 75,000-80,000 plus 12% superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
