Alpha Earthworks & Civil Pty require a Logistics Manager to join their team in Helena Valley, Western Australia.
Duties and Responsibilities include:- Create and implement local policies and procedures relating to supply chain activities undertaken for and by Alpha Earthworks and Civil Pty;
- Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and import strategies for raw materials, parts and services;
- Develop and implement distribution budgets to maintain required stock levels and manage expenses within the budgets at best cost to the business;
- Managing and directing project managers, engineers and operators in their projects, ensuring efficient and precise execution and supporting their performance and professional development;
- Managing the supply of products and services to ensure requirements are met and delivered according to contracts and agreed targets;
- Negotiating and monitoring contracts with suppliers to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and environmental compliance;
- Overseeing the recording systems to track all movements of supply and distribution transactions.
To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification and at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification employment experience; OR at least 5 years of relevant employment experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
This is a full time position working 38 hours per week, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $85,000 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
