Heavy Diesel Specialists Australia (HDSA) delivers specialist mobile equipment maintenance across the mining sector, focusing on quality, diagnostics, and reliability.
We are currently seeking a skilled HD Mechanic (Mining - Mobile Equipment) to join our team across the Pilbara and Goldfields (WA). This role is offered on a casual basis, working 12-hour days on a 2:1 roster or 8:6 roster, with opportunities to transition into permanent full-time employment.
Duties include:- Maintenance, servicing, and repairs on surface mining equipment.
- Diagnostics and fault finding across mechanical and A/C systems.
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Completing service reports and documentation.
- Pre-service inspections and machine health checks.
You will be working with:- CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi diagnostic equipment
- A/C diagnostic tools
- SAP
- Safeday and Humanz
Experience with the above systems/equipment will be advantageous.
Applicants will be trade qualified and have:- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A/C experience (preferred)
- Valid driver's licence (HR preferred)
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
- A motivated, dependable approach with pride in your work
