Sound Auto Electrics is an automotive electrical repairer located in Rockingham offering a quality and reliable service. Our trained auto electricians can do all auto electrical repairs & air conditioning regas / repairs to all types of vehicles, light trucks and marine.
Due to continued growth, we're looking for a qualified Auto Electrician to become part of our team. We also welcome applications from Apprentice Auto Electricians who have completed at least their first year and are keen to continue developing their skills in a supportive, hands-on workshop.
Working alongside experienced Auto Electricians and under the guidance of our Workshop Foreman, you'll carry out a wide variety of electrical installations, diagnostics and repairs across a diverse range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair auto electrical faults
- Install and fit electrical accessories
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostic testing
- Service and repair automotive air conditioning systems (where applicable)
- Work on passenger vehicles, light trucks and marine equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service
About You:
For qualified Auto Electricians, you'll have:- A recognised Auto Electrical qualification
- Experience diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical systems
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Pride in producing quality workmanship
For Apprentice Auto Electricians, you'll:- Have completed at least your first year of an Auto Electrical Apprenticeship (2nd year or above)
- Have some exposure to electrical repairs, accessory fit-outs and basic diagnostics
- Be eager to learn from experienced technicians
- Have a positive attitude and commitment to completing your apprenticeship
