Yoros Pty Ltd provides a variety of seafood products for retail and wholesale. We source our products directly from the suppliers, and we offer high quality products to our retail and wholesale customers.
We are seeking a full-time Retail Buyer to join our growing team. The position is based in Liverpool, NSW 2170.
Roles and responsibilities include:- Attending seafood auctions, visiting suppliers, and working directly with suppliers to purchase quality seafood products.
- Negotiating purchase agreements, deals, and supply terms with seafood producers, fisheries, and other suppliers.
- Collaborating with management on long-term procurement strategies and seasonal sales promotions for seafood.
- Determining the volume, species, and quality of seafood to purchase based on the customer's preference and demand.
- Monitoring seafood sales data, stock levels, and reports to stay informed of market trends, supply fluctuations, and changing consumer demands.
- Creating purchasing plans based on seasonal seafood availability, sustainability, and budgetary constraints.
- Inspecting, comparing, and evaluating the products based on freshness, origin, species, and sustainability certifications.
- Developing and implementing pricing, marketing, promotional, and display strategies tailored to seafood products.
You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to apply.
Skills and Qualifications:- Certificate III and 2-year experience, or Certificate IV.
Experience:- 1 year minimum full time (or equivalent) work experience as a retail buyer or in a related field.
Location:Salary Offered:- $77,000 - $95,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
