About Us
Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club is a premier golfing destination located in Colebee, New South Wales. Designed by renowned Greg Norman, our 18-hole, par 71 championship golf course is set amidst the rolling topography of Eastern Creek, providing a challenging and picturesque experience for golfers of all skill levels. In addition to golf, our club hosts a wide range of facilities, including tennis courts, a pro shop, practice areas, and extensive function and event spaces.
Position duties and responsibilities:- Prepare, season, and cook a variety of dishes across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special function menus.
- Plan and organise daily food preparation in coordination with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and service to ensure consistency, taste, and presentation standards.
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers, and other cooking equipment to ensure proper cooking and food safety.
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Store food properly to prevent spoilage and contamination, ensuring stock rotation (FIFO) is followed.
- Monitor portion sizes, minimise waste, and adhere to presentation standards.
- Assist in the development of menus and daily specials, considering seasonal availability and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen polices at all times.
- Supervise and train kitchen hands and junior staff as needed.
- Assist in the setup and execution of catering services for events and functions hosted at the venue
Requirements:- Completion of Certificate IV or above
- A minimum of one year of work experience as a Cook
