We are currently looking for an outgoing and driven Senior Agronomist to join our team working in our retail branch in Leeton.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:- Provide expert agronomy advice across broad acre cropping and pasture operations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering outstanding customer service
- Develop farm plans, crop budgets, and tailored recommendations for weeds, pests, diseases, and nutrition
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities with existing and prospective clients
- Mentor and support junior agronomists and early-career team members
- Work collaboratively with management on strategic planning, product development, and new technology adoption
- Assist with product selection, supply chain management, and stock transactions
- Participate in team meetings, industry events, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain compliance with Workplace Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
- Complete administrative tasks, reporting, and customer follow-up in a timely and professional manner
- Support branch operations and undertake additional duties as required within the role
- Perform other tasks as required and/or delegated, in line with job role.
Essential requirements:- Driver's licence.
- AgSafe accreditation.
- Tertiary and/or post graduate studies in an Agricultural Science.

This is a full time position working 7.6 hours a day, 5 days a week (38 hours a week), with a rostered 4 hour Saturday shift once a month.
