  • The Trustee for FZ Pacific Enterprises Unit Trust (Vibe Petroleum Ascot WA) are seeking a hands-on Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy petrol station in Ascot WA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is confident in leading a team to deliver excellent customer service. You will be responsible to manage, control and organise the daily operations of the Store. You will be passionate, driven, well-presented and have an exceptional customer service standard.

    Some of your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:
    • Ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day management of the store whilst achieving sales targets.
    • Be proactive to initiate and implement marketing strategies to boost traffic through the store, and therefore maximising store's sales.
    • Proactively promote the Store's products to patrons.
    • Financial management including stock take, monitoring sales to ensure profitability, recording of financial transactions, and managing store's budgets.
    • Identify the most effective product mix for the convenience store to maximise sales and the efficient usage of our store's spaces, and adjust the store's product mix regularly.
    • Set pricing for all products according to market shifts and changes.
    • Ensuring that the minimum required stocks are maintained for all products, including the convenience store items, and manage the stock ordering with suppliers.
    • Recruit, train and supervising team members.
    • Ensuring team members provide exceptional customer experience at all times.
    • Handle customers' inquiries and complaints.
    • Ensuring store's compliance with OH&S Regulations.
    • Maintain Store's presentation at all times.
    To be successful applicants must have a diploma or higher qualification in business or related field, as well as a minimum 1-2 years previous work experience in a similar role.

    • Exceptional interpersonal and people management skills, and the ability to act as a role model.
    • Strong leadership and management skills with a people-first mindset.
    • Delegation and time management skills.
    • Strong work ethics with a desire to make a difference.
    • Ability to work within a fast paced, highly dynamic environment.
    • Financial management experience is highly desirable.
    A salary between $77,000 - $82,000 + superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
