Atsi Hair is a women's hair salon in Brookvale that offers exceptional service and professional results. Atsi offers a full suite of services for women in Brookvale and beyond, with every appointment tailored to comfort, care, and exceptional outcomes.
We require a Hairdresser to join our team.
The main focus of the hairdresser is to cut, style, colour, straighten and permanently wave hair, and treat hair and scalp conditions.
Key Duties include:- Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations to determine client preferences, analyse hair/scalp health, and suggest appropriate styles or treatments;
- Client Services: Shampoo, condition, dry, and style hair; perform hair colouring, straightening, and permanent waves using chemical solutions;
- Cutting and Styling: Cut hair using scissors, clippers, and razors to create specific styles;
- Sales and Administration: Recommend, sell, and maintain inventory of hair products. Manage appointments, use POS systems, and process payments;
- Professional Development: Stay updated on current fashion trends, techniques, and new product lines;
- Salon Hygiene & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, ensuring all tools are properly sanitized after each use.
To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with an:- AQF Certificate III, including at least two years of on-the-job training and at one year of relevant post qualification employment experience, OR;
- AQF Certificate IV and at least one year of relevant post qualification employment experience, OR;
- At least three years of relevant employment experience may substitute for the formal qualifications noted above.
This is a full time role, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $78,000 - $85,000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate.
