STC Partners is a well-established CPA firm that has been serving clients around Perth WA since 1993. We are looking for a Taxation Accountant with a desire to learn and be part of our friendly team. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality accounting and taxation services to your assigned clients.
Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:- Clients' meetings and liaison
- Manage the flow of information between clients and our firm
- Be able to maintain a portfolio of clients assigned to you
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for your assigned clients (sole traders, partnerships, companies, discretionary trusts and unit trusts)
- Asset Register and Depreciation
- Financial analysis
- Prepare Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
- Fringe Benefits Tax advice, calculations & reporting
- Liaise with ATO and ASIC on clients' matters
- Provide general accounting and taxation advice to clients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant taxation and other relevant legislation and rulings.
- Participate in external and internal training as required
- Ensure that all work is error-free and professionally presented and complies with STC Partners' procedures and systems
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate files and records and date any actions and detailed file notes
Applicants must have:- Bachelor degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with clients
- Strong work ethics
- Ability to work within a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently, and as part of the team
A salary of $76,500 - $80,000 plus superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
