    Position Overview:

    We are excited to announce the position of Retail Manager at Sara Smart Products Pty Ltd, trading as SPAR Express Coominya. This full-time role is responsible for organising and overseeing the day-to-day retail operations of the supermarket, ensuring efficient service delivery and a high standard of customer satisfaction. The Retail Manager will supervise staff, manage stock levels, coordinate store layout and promotional activities, and ensure the effective sale of grocery products and fast-moving consumer goods. The role also involves maintaining store presentation, supporting customers, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributing to the smooth and cost-effective operation of the business.

    Tasks & responsibilities:
    • Responsible for organising and controlling all store operations at Spar Express Coominya.
    • Manage inventory and stock levels of grocery items and fast-moving consumer goods, including daily reconciliation, banking, and other administrative duties as required.
    • Collaborate with business owners to align retail strategies with organisational goals.
    • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day store operations, ensuring product availability, quality, and efficient service delivery.
    • Monitor daily retail activities to ensure consistency in product availability, store presentation, and customer service standards.
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve financial targets.
    • Manage product selection and pricing in line with supplier agreements and market conditions to maximise sales and profitability.
    • Organise sales promotions and in-store activities to increase customer engagement and revenue.
    • Analyse sales and revenue reports and prepare forecasts to support business planning.
    • Monitor market trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
    • Supervise, train, and guide staff to ensure high performance and productivity.
    • Resolve staffing issues and address stock discrepancies efficiently.
    • Handle customer complaints and feedback to maintain the store's reputation.
    • Ensure a positive customer experience to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
    • Contribute to a safe and positive work environment for all staff.
    • Determine product range, stock levels, and service standards to meet customer needs.
    • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
    • Manage store profit and loss performance and accurately forecast resource requirements.
    • Control operational costs without compromising product quality and customer service.
    • Ensure occupational health and safety standards are maintained and followed at all times.
    Essential Skills:
    • Ensure high-quality service, handle complaints, train staff.
    • Coordinate with other departments and communicate goals
    • Oversee stock levels, manage orders, conduct inventory audits.
    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Diploma or higher in the relevant field.
    • Required at least One (1) year of relevant experience
    Benefits & Remuneration:
    • Salary commensurate with experience. $77,000 to $80,000 plus guaranteed superannuation.
