  • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Qualified Fabricator / Boilermaker to join Pittsworth Fleet Maintenance Pty Ltd. The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality fabrication and welding work on heavy diesel vehicles, machinery, and related equipment, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new techniques.

    The Fabricator / Boilermaker is responsible for carrying out fabrication, welding, repairs, and installation work to a high standard across trucks, trailers, and related equipment. This role involves both repair and custom fabrication work, including new fit-outs, refurbishments, structural repairs, and stainless fabrication as required. The position plays an important role in ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high level of workmanship, while contributing to the overall productivity and quality standards of the workshop.

    Applicants must have an AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV including at least 1 year of experience. Alternatively, at least three years of full-time relevant experience in lieu of a formal qualification.

    Your role will include, but is not limited to:
    • Perform fabrication, welding, and boilermaking duties on trucks, trailers, and related equipment
    • Complete structural repairs, modifications, and general maintenance work
    • Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and job specifications
    • Cut, shape, assemble, and weld metal components using appropriate equipment and techniques
    • Carry out repairs on damaged or worn components
    • Assist with custom truck and trailer fit-outs, refurbishments, and stainless-steel fabrication
    • Ensure all work is completed to required quality and safety standards
    A salary of $76,515 - $90,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
