At AAA Somerton Windows Pty Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Glazier to join our team. The role involves installation, repair, and replacement of both single- and double-glazing systems (DGU) across a range of projects.
Duties and responsibilities include:- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Measure, cut, and install glass panels
- Install and replace single glazing and double-glazed units (DGU)
- Fit glazing into aluminium window and door frames
- Replace damaged or defective glass
- Apply sealants, putty and protective finishes to ensure proper installation
- Perform on-site installation and repair work
- Follow WHS procedures and maintain safe work practices
- Work with team members to meet project deadlines
Applicants must have a Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (or currently undertaking) and a minimum 1 years' glazing experience.
Applicants will also have:- Experience in both single and double glazing systems
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- White Card (Construction Induction Card) - Required
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain) - Preferred
- Valid driver's licence - Preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Be physically fit and capable of manual handling
A salary of $73,000 to $78,000 plus superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
