CRU HAIR is seeking a passionate and experienced Full-Time Senior Hairdresser to join our friendly and Professional salon team in Chapel Hill, Queensland. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong hairdressing skills, excellent customer service, and a passion for delivering high-quality salon services to our valued clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Ladies' short style cuts and hair styling
- Children's haircuts and styling
- Keratin smoothing treatments
- Upstyling, event, and wedding hairstyling
- Beauty treatments including facial tinting and waxing
- Perming and chemical straightening treatments
- Providing advice and guidance on hair maintenance, beauty products, and suitable hairstyles
- Washing hair and treating scalps with conditioner and specialised treatments
- Applying chemical solutions to colour, straighten, and permanently curl hair
- Trimming and cutting hair using scissors, clippers, and razors
- Creating hairstyles including braids and attaching hair extensions
- Shaping and grooming beards and moustaches
- Cleaning, dyeing, cutting, and styling wigs and hairpieces
- Maintaining cleanliness of workstations and sterilising tools and equipment
- Scheduling client appointments and processing payments
- Guiding and training apprentice hairdressers
Essential Requirements:- Certificate or Diploma in Hairdressing, Barber or any relevant qualification
- At least 12 months of full-time work experience in the salon and hairdressing industry
Required Skills:- Attention to detail and creativity in hairstyling
- Knowledge of hair care products and maintenance advice
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of hygiene, cleanliness, and sterilisation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Strong time management and organisational skills
A salary of AUD 77,000 + Superannuation will be offered to the successful applicant.
