About the role
Pacific Building Management Group is seeking a skilled and motivated ICT Business Analyst to join our team. This role will support the review, improvement and implementation of ICT systems, business processes and digital solutions used across our building management operations, including digital workflows for maintenance, work orders, asset management, supplier coordination, resident communication and reporting.
The successful candidate will work closely with management, operational staff, technical teams and external service providers to understand business requirements, document system needs, support ICT projects and assist with the delivery of practical technology-based improvements that improve business efficiency and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Consulting with management, operational staff and system users to understand business needs, system issues and improvement opportunities.
- Reviewing current digital workflows, procedures and ICT systems used for maintenance requests, work orders, asset records, supplier coordination, resident communication and reporting.
- Preparing business requirement documents, functional specifications, workflow maps, user stories and related project documentation for system improvements.
- Translating business and operational needs into clear system requirements and working with developers, vendors or technical teams to support solution design and delivery.
- Analysing system data, user feedback and system performance to recommend improvements to functionality, reporting, usability and business efficiency.
- Supporting ICT projects through planning, task coordination, stakeholder communication, issue tracking and progress reporting.
- Assisting with system testing, user acceptance testing, defect reporting and implementation of system updates and improvements.
- Preparing user guides, training materials and process instructions, and assisting staff to use new or updated system functions.
Skills and Experience Requirements:- A bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analysis, Project Management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of full-time relevant experience in business analysis, systems analysis, ICT project support, software implementation or a similar role.
- Strong ability to analyse business processes and translate business needs into clear system requirements.
- Experience preparing business requirement documents, functional specifications, workflow diagrams, test plans or user documentation.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycles, system implementation and ICT project delivery.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
