BB Building Services is a respected family-owned construction business delivering roofing, construction, modular building and fabrication projects throughout the Riverina region. With approximately 15-20 staff across roofing, construction, fabrication and administration, we've built a strong reputation throughout regional NSW by delivering quality workmanship, looking after our people, and creating a workplace where team members can build long-term careers.

About the Role
Working closely with our Director, Project Managers and site teams, you'll play an important role in preparing accurate estimates, pricing projects and supporting successful project delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:- Preparing project estimates and quotations
- Completing quantity take-offs
- Reviewing plans and specifications
- Tender preparation and submissions
- Obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Cost analysis and budget preparation
- Assisting with procurement and project handovers
- Maintaining estimating systems and databases
- Supporting commercial and government tender submissions
- Working closely with project managers and company directors
As part of this role, you will also assist with coordinating and reviewing work completed by our offshore estimating team - Ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with Australian construction standards and industry requirements. This responsibility will be fully supported by management and provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your estimating skills, broaden your industry knowledge, and gain exposure to a diverse range of projects and areas of the business.
This position is ideally full-time, however part-time arrangements (minimum 3 days per week) may be considered for the right candidate.
Junior Estimator Candidates - You may be looking to start or develop your career in construction and bring:- Strong computer and administrative skills
- Good numerical and analytical ability
- High attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- A willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Construction industry exposure or qualifications (advantageous)
Experienced Estimator Candidates - You will ideally have:- Estimating experience within construction, roofing or a related industry
- Experience reviewing plans and specifications
- Tendering and procurement experience
- Strong commercial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
