Surface Coating are seeking 2-3 experienced Epoxy Flooring / Concrete Preparation Specialists to join our growing team based in Melbourne.
This is a hands-on, physical role involving concrete grinding, surface preparation, and epoxy flooring installation across industrial, commercial and residential sites - including short interstate project work (typically 1 week at a time within a 1-2 month cycle).
The Role
You'll be working in a small team delivering high-quality flooring systems across a variety of sites.
Work includes:- Concrete grinding and surface preparation
- Epoxy flooring installation (roll coat, screeds, flake systems)
- Vinyl flake and poly cement systems
- Epoxy coving and detailing work
- Site clean-up and preparation
- Safe operation of grinding machinery and equipment
- Occasional interstate travel for project delivery
What's on offer:- $30-50/hr depending on experience

We are looking for reliable, experienced flooring / grinding operators who can hit the ground running.
You will need to demonstrate:- Previous concrete grinding experience
- Epoxy flooring experience
- Ability to operate machinery and hand tools safely
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual, labour-intensive work
- White Card
- Full working rights in Australia
- Willingness to travel interstate for short project stints
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Able to follow direction and work independently when required
- A clear communicator within a small team environment
- Comfortable working on active construction and industrial sites
All successful candidates will be required to complete:- Full medical assessment (including drug & alcohol screening)
- Hearing and physical capability testing
This is a small, fast-moving team working across commercial and industrial flooring projects.

We are open to training the right person, but strong practical experience and work ethic are essential.
