    Tuart Engineering is a family-run fabrication workshop based in Kewdale, WA, known for delivering high-quality, custom metalwork to long-term clients across multiple industries. We're expanding our team and are seeking an experienced Welder to join us in a full-time, permanent role.

    What you'll do

    As part of our workshop team, you'll handle a range of custom fabrication jobs - no production line repetition here!

    Key responsibilities:
    • Perform GMAW and FCAW welding
    • Operate workshop machinery (guillotine, press brake, rollers, crane)
    • Read and interpret technical fabrication drawings
    • Complete custom jobs independently and to deadline
    • Maintain safety, quality, and workmanship standards
    What we're looking for

    You're a skilled, motivated welder who takes pride in precision and quality. You can work independently, think on your feet, and enjoy variety in your workday.

    To succeed in this role, you'll need:
    • Minimum 2 years' welding experience
    • Strong ability to interpret drawings
    • Excellent attention to detail and finish
    • Driver's licence required
    • Forklift ticket preferred (not essential)
    • Bonus: Additional tickets or machinery experience
