    Due to continued demand, they are seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join their team.

    Your role will include, but is not limited to:
    • Surface preparation to include sanding, grinding, cleaning, and masking surfaces to remove defects and prepare them for paint.
    • Use water-based 2 pack paint systems to apply primers and paint to achieve a high-quality finish.
    • Colour matching/mixing to include blending paint, tints, and coatings according to specifications.
    • Equipment maintenance to include cleaning nozzles, hoses, and containers, and performing routine maintenance on spray equipment and booths.
    • Quality control to include inspecting finished surfaces for runs, drips, or defects and performing necessary touch-ups.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the painting process.
    • Safety compliance to include adhering to safety regulations by wearing personal protective equipment(PPE) and ensuring proper ventilation.
    • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
    • Liaising with management regarding work flows between the panel and paint services to ensure efficient and effective completion of work, in agreed time frames.
    We are looking for a skilled Spray Painter to deliver high-quality finishes that exactly match the colours and finishes requested.

    You will work closely with the panel team to ensure efficient vehicle flow while maintaining strict quality standards and minimising rework.

    To be successful, candidates must have a relevant trade qualification AQF Certificate IV with at least two years of relevant experience. Alternatively, at least five years of full-time relevant experience in lieu of a formal qualification.

    A salary between $79,000 - $84,000 + Super will be offered to the successful candidate.
