We are an established, privately owned used earthmoving machinery sales business importing and preparing equipment for sale across Australia. We work with well-known brands including Caterpillar, Volvo, Hitachi and Komatsu.
We are looking for a motivated, high-energy individual with strong attention to detail to join our team in a front-of-house, sales support and marketing role.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is confident dealing with people, enjoys marketing and content creation, and is keen to learn how a real sales business operates from the ground up. Opportunities for progression into a sales role may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Front Counter & Customer Experience:- Greet and assist walk-in customers
- Be the first point of contact for visitors to the office
- Provide a welcoming, professional experience
- Provide hospitality and professional presentation of the office and sales area
Sales & Office Support:- Answer all office phone calls and respond to enquiries
- Take accurate messages and follow up where required
- Assist sales staff with day-to-day operations
- Prepare sales packs, listings and documentation
- Maintain customer and enquiry records
Marketing & Advertising:- Manage and update the company website
- Assist with social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
- Take photos and videos of machinery for advertising and online listings
- Write advertising descriptions and marketing content
- Assist with marketing campaigns and mail-outs
What We're Looking For:- Self-motivated with a positive, high-energy attitude
- Confident communicator with strong people skills
- Highly organised, reliable and proactive, with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in an office environment and dealing with customers
- Willing to learn sales, marketing and machinery knowledge
- Ambition to grow and develop over time
No formal qualifications are required. Previous experience is welcome but not essential, as you will learn on the job. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn are key.
