Thanya Thai Restaurant Pty Ltd Trading as Cobar Thai Restaurant and Wan's Kitchen is a dynamic hospitality operation consisting of a Thai restaurant and a licensed club dining venue. We are currently looking for a Restaurant Manager to join their teams, working across both venues.
This is a full time role in a fast-paced environment serving a diverse customer base, working 38 hours per week, including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the business to ensure efficient and profitable performance.
- Supervise, train and support front-of-house and kitchen staff.
- Coordinate staff rosters, recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service and food quality.
- Manage inventory, stock ordering and supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, workplace health and safety requirements, and company policies.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues in a professional manner.
- Monitor sales performance, labour costs and operational expenses.
- Work closely with business owners and kitchen teams to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with menu implementation, promotions and business development initiatives.
- Coordinate operations across hospitality venues and ensure consistency in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, restaurant or food service management.
- Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Business or related field is desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service and staff supervision.
- Experience managing roster, stock control and daily business operations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Hands-on manager with the ability to lead diverse teams and maintain high operational standards.
- Experience working with Thai, Asian and Western food service environments is highly regarded.
