An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Rental Manager to lead and grow our heavy trailer rental division. This role offers a dynamic and hands-on career path within a well-established business in the transport industry.
About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our rental fleet while driving performance, efficiency, and continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain a rental fleet of 100+ heavy transport units
Achieve monthly sales, utilisation, and maintenance targets
Contribute to marketing initiatives and ongoing business development
Lead and supervise a team of 7 workshop staff
Manage parts ordering and maintain appropriate stock levels
Ensure compliance with Main Roads requirements, including audits and documentation
Perform general administrative duties associated with the role
Skills & Experience:
Proven management and leadership experience
Strong background in heavy transport and/or trailer industry
Mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience
Demonstrated sales and customer relationship skills
Solid organisational and administrative abilities (preferred)
